Back from the Dead

Join 30 Days of Lists

This blog isn't really being used for anything, so I'm going to dedicate it (at least for the time being) to 30 Days of Lists for September 2011. Maybe I'll use it for assorted memes after that; I don't know. All I know is that I'm no longer creating enough mailart to make a blog worth it, and if I do want to share anything it'll end up on my main site. This project just doesn't really fit on either my main blog nor my online journal, but I think it'll be fun nonetheless. Let the listmaking begin!

Niagara Community College Mail Art Show

If you look closely at the invitation postcard to the NCCC show (which takes place today, coincidentally), you'll see a little white-and-purple bird. That's part of the postcard I sent. I'll post the whole thing later on. I'm just tickled to see it made it.

1001 Journals

Here are the traveling journals I have contributed to so far in my time on 1001 Journals (a kind of sequel to the famous 1000 Journals Project).

#2272: Ancestry and Culture

#2538: Mail

#2507: Thursday

#2465: Fast Food Packets

Journals #2720 and #2726 arrived in today's mail. So much fun!

I've also started my own but it appears to have hit a black hole right off. :/

ATC Madness 1

Recently I've gotten into swapping Artist Trading Cards, a popular hobby among mailartists. These were all in response to themed swaps but an ATC can be pretty much anything as long as it's 2.5"x3.5". Here are some I've created for Swap-Bot and CCS.

Documentation

My first and most controversial piece of mailart. It is on the very last page of the documentation, so keep clicking "next" until you get there.

Origins

Exhibit
Documentation

This was made from an old computer punch card as part of the "Do Not Fold, Bend, Spindle or Mutilate: Computer Punch Card Art" exhibit in the Washington Pavilion of Arts and Science in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Mine's on page three of the "vertical" punch card style.
